Super 8 film can be added on for an initial fee of $300 for the first ~3 minute film roll. Each additional film roll is $200. The super 8 footage will be tastefully added to key moments of the wedding feature film. You’ll also get a separate uncut video of all of the footage.

If you’ve inquired about a “super 8 only” film, prices and deliverables will vary. We’ll chat to figure out the best option for you!

What to expect.

Abby is a professional photographer with the last 9 years dedicated exclusively to weddings, Cohl is a cinematographer with 15+ years of editing experience and thousands of hours behind the camera. This experience helps us treat each wedding like the unique and personal moment that it is.

Retainer & payments

We require a 20% non-refundable retainer to lock your date in our calendar, this applies to the total balance. The remainder is due by the wedding day.

We offer payment plans or “pay-as-you-want” options, all handled through our contract and invoicing website.

Full Day

We define “full day” as arriving early enough and staying late enough that we don’t miss any important moments. This typically means capturing the tail end of the bridal party getting ready through ~90 minutes after the dance floor has been open. If you have a grand exit planned, we’re there for it! 10-12 hours is typical for most weddings.

After You’re Booked

Once we’re booked to cover your wedding day, there are a few things we’ll need from you.

  • Start thinking of a location and date that works for your engagement session. We like to get a general time frame in our calendar as soon as possible but we’ll go over all of the details with you as the date gets closer

  • Contact information for your venue (only needed if they notify you that they require a certificate of insurance from your vendors)

  • We’ll have you fill out a detailed questionnaire ~60 days before your wedding date. This helps us fine tune our coverage and gives us better insight into your love story so we can craft you a truly one of a kind film

We typically like to attend wedding rehearsals, especially if it’s at the ceremony location. This gives us a chance to plan our shots and camera locations, not to mention how useful it is to learn the flow of the ceremony! We’ll get the rehearsal details from you when the wedding day gets closer.

We pride ourselves on how well we work with other vendors! Your DJ won’t be waiting on us to start speeches. Your planner will we happy we kept to the schedule. Keeping everything running smoothly is a huge part of our job and we excel at it!

After the wedding

You’ll have your photo sneak peeks and teaser video within 72 hours, these cover most of the main parts of the day for a well rounded re-cap! (Destination weddings may have a longer turn around time for sneak peeks)

Our contract allows us 120 days to deliver all of the content to you but our typical turn around time is around 60 days. Weddings earlier in the season might see their content sooner and weddings later in the season might see a small delay.

Your online photo and video galleries are “permanent”, meaning we will not delete them. We can’t guarantee access forever; businesses shut down, servers fail and glitches happen. As a service to our clients, we also keep copies on our local server, a local backup drive and in a cloud backup. If you lose access to your wedding content for any reason, reach out to us for help!
